This season the ECNL will feature the college corner, a section highlighting standout ECNL alums who were named Players of the Week from their respective NCAA Division 1 conferences around the country. This week features four players who were outstanding on the field for their college teams.
Girls
Pac 12 Offensive Player of the Week
Jasmine Aikey – Stanford
ECNL Club – MVLA
Aikey scored a hat trick to lead Stanford to a 3-0 victory at Oregon State on Sunday. In addition to the three goals, the freshman took 15 shots over the weekend, with nine of them on target. It was her first career multi goal game and resulted in her first career Pac 12 weekly award. During her time in the ECNL, Aikey played for MVLA and helped guide them to the 2021 ECNL U17 National Championship.

SWAC Defensive Player of the Week
Sydni Wilson – Jackson State
ECNL Club – GSA
Wilson has been a key defender for the Lady Tigers this season on their way to the SWAC regular season conference title. She has contributed to Jackson Stateβs ability to hold seven of its last eight opponents scoreless while helping the team remain undefeated throughout conference play. While in the ECNL, Wilson played for GSA.

Boys
Patriot League Rookie of the Week
Charlie Holmes – Bucknell
ECNL Club – Seattle United
The freshman scored the equalizing goal just 12 minutes into the game against No. 4 Syracuse. During his time in the ECNL, Holmes played for Seattle United and was an ECNL Northwest Conference Second Team selection.
